About Me

I am a freelance writer and author.  

My writing experience includes Bible devotionals, poetry, YA fiction, flash fiction, creative messaging for social media, creative development of blogs, newsletters, and research articles. I recently published my first novel: The Sword of Phoxnay.

Why I Write

 I write because it is something I am compelled to do. I write because I love words, language, and sharing my experiences to help and encourage others; and maybe even spread some laughter from time to time.

My poetry is how I process my emotions, difficult experiences, and the world around me.

I write devotionals for my church and as a means to dig deeper into God's word. I am not a theologian by any means and I don't claim to have all the answers but I am an imperfect person trying to follow the path God has laid out for me. He directs me to a fulfilling life, but I often try to make my own way and find myself in trouble. Thankfully God is always there to pick me up and help me try again. My life has taught me that God will never leave me or forsake me. All I have to do is turn back to Him and He is there still loving me through all my mistakes.
